I ran into something and got a scratch with a bruise under it on my leg. The other night I scratched it and it bled so I put on one of Ry's Cars bandaids. For the last two days Raeghan crawls over and pokes my bandaid relentlessly, getting mad when I cover it or move - which would be fine if there weren't a BRUISE under it! LOL So, I put a bandaid on her leg... she pulled it off and chewed on it.

Our Trip

We left Thursday morning for Tennessee. We got there around noon and went straight to the Chattanooga Aquarium. We went through the River Journey then over to the IMAX to see Dinosaurs Alive (my and Ry's first 3D movie) and then back to the Ocean Journey. I have to say that we were not very impressed with the Aquarium, but I suspect it had a little to do with being spoiled by having Sea World passes. We headed to the hotel to check in around 5 and then back out to get dinner. We went back downtown and ate at Sticky Fingers. It was pretty good, Raeghan ate almost a whole baked potato. After that we headed back to the hotel and Chris put Ry to bed while Mary, Raeghan and I watched a little TV and just relaxed. We all hit the hay around 10. Up Friday morning and downstairs for breakfast. And then we headed to the Children's Discovery Museum which was way cool. Ry had a blast, as did Raeghan. There's just tons of stuff there! We stayed until 1ish and then headed up to Atlanta to IKEA where we shopped for a few hours - that place is just so stinkin' big!! We got some laundry sorters, cups and plates for the kids, curtains, step stool, tiny stuffed animals (.25 each!!) and a few other things. We then drove to meet Jodi (a mom I met on a forum) and her sweet kids for dinner at a Mexican restaurant. Her son, Josh, is also allergic to peanuts and wears a MedicAlert bracelet - the first other kid Ry has met with one. We had fun with them and Ry got some energy out in the parking lot and then we headed home. We got in around 9:30 last night and went straight to bed. It was a lot of fun!! I'll be back with pics soon.

I have smart kids

Mary and I were walking through Target today and I signed milk to Raeghan, who was riding in the cart and asked her if she wanted some, she promptly spit her binky out and said, "Uhhhhh!!!" :) I sent Ry out back with a shopping bag to pick up some grass (Chris mowed today) so we could use it as mulch for the plants we're about to plant. Later when I went out, he had put one side of the bag inside the cooler and closed it to hold it open for him.
